For over 13 years, YEM has been committed to improving the quality of life in Bedford Stuyvesant and the surrounding central Brooklyn neighborhoods, and our work had profoundly impacted the lives of thousands of youth and families all over the city. This work would not be possible without the support of socially-responsible citizens like you. All contributions to YEM are fully tax-deductible to the extent of the law and go directly towards supporting our work with youth and families in high-need neighborhoods.
Here are some examples of how your contribution to YEM, no matter the amount, can make a difference:
- A contribution of $25 can be used to purchase art supplies
- A contribution of $50 can be used to purchase an SAT study guide for a
college-bound student - A contribution of $100 can cover the cost of educational software
- A contribution of $250 can cover the cost of transportation and lunch for a
six-week job internship - A contribution of $500 can cover the cost of a visit to a local or regional college
- A contribution of $1,000 can provide seed money for an entrepreneurial project
